Lord, Keep Us Reaching   May I Copy this Hymn?

Lord, keep us reaching to those who are needy,
Praying and working and giving Your best.
Many are lonely and suffering this moment.
You give Yourself. We can give nothing less.

Worries of life make no room for Your service.
Hearts are consumed by ambition or ease.
Dying to self is the doorway to freedom.
Living in You is the pathway of peace.

How can we hoard all the gifts You have given?
Love is Your purpose, and we have a part.
Father, our Father, we all are Your children.
Broaden our vision, and open our hearts.

Deepen our caring and fill it with action.
What would Christ do in response to this need?
Make us the hands of His boundless compassion,
Reaching and lifting and loving indeed!
