Father, Father, as I trust You,
As I turn my thoughts to pray,
You are with me, deeply with me;
We are breathing face to face.
May I live and die before You,
Never turned or drawn away,
All my thinking, all my doing,
Ever only face to face.

When our Lord was here among us,
Walking, working through the day,
You were with Him, always with Him;
You were living face to face.
In temptation, in the garden,
Still He never turned away.
As He died, His work completed,
He was focused on Your face.
