Tell me, why should we be gloomy,
And now what have we to dread?
His joys have filled our journey,
And His joys are all ahead.
His hands are full of blessings,
And His smile is our reward.
We’re rich beyond all measure -
We are children of the Lord!

So we’re bold today as we trust and pray,
For no matter what may come,
We live to lift all glory
To the High and Holy One.
We’re singing and bringing our praising and raising
His love till all have heard.
We live today rejoicing -
We are children of the Lord!

Though our journey may seem dreary
As we cross this barren land,
The King is always with us,
And He’s always in command.
His wisdom goes before us
With His majesty above.
Beneath and all around us
Is His everlasting love.
