Life: just a body frail and weak,
All a house of clay.
Life: reaching for eternity,
Dying day by day.

Life is born in the death of Christ.
By the breath of Christ
We are new in Him.
Have no fear when this body dies.
We will rise to life’s
New beginning.

Life: absent from the God we love,
Clinging to His Word.
Death: flying from this house of pain,
Present with the Lord.

See this world all dissolve away
And the dawn display
All of life renewed.
Now we’re all we were meant to be
For eternity
In His beauty!

Life: walking with the Lord Himself
Now and soon above.
Joy: one with Him in heart and mind,
All His holy love.
