Lyrics

You come, the peace of God restored.
You come, the glory of the Lord,
Bathing our world in holy light.
You come, the King in full command
With shepherd’s heart and gentle hand.
Praise be to You, Lord Jesus Christ!

Above the world we touch and see
You reign, transcendent deity,
Sovereign and just in all You do.
Leaders and nations far below
Rise up in pride, then quickly go.
All history lifts its eyes to You!

All things are open to Your sight,
Your perfect wisdom, love, and might.
You are Your servants’ rich reward!
You come, new power to the weak.
You give Yourself to all who seek,
Jesus, our Life, our Joy, our Lord!
