Lyrics

Dying Savior, as Your body
What a joy to share in You
Shame and suffering, yet rejoicing,
Death, yet life forever new.
Christ, our Light in all this darkness!
Shine, O Bright and Morning Star!
Soon the dawning, soon the morning,
Soon the sun of all You are!

You are joy in all its fullness,
Rich supply for every need,
Strength when we are weak and weary,
Light if we but let You lead.
Pressured, yet we march triumphant,
Trusting One forever true,
Loving, patient, persevering,
Meek, but tall and strong in You.

Brothers, sisters still are suffering
For the Lord they glorify.
Bathe them in Your holy presence
As they bow to lift You high.
May we share their total giving,
All we are and all we own,
One in heart and one in purpose,
Giving all to make You known.
