Lyrics

O God, as evil seems so near,
You feel so far away!
Come, draw us in by simple faith
And be our help today.

Refrain:
Rise, rise, O Lord Most High!
Let morning dawn and darkness die!
Bring justice and peace through Your Holy Son.
O may His Kingdom come!

The wicked lurk and prowl about
With words as their disguise.
Their lust for power, their pride and greed
All hide beneath their lies.

Our confidence, our truth, our hope
Are You, and You alone.
Soon every knee and every heart
Will bow around Your throne.
