O Lord enthroned in endless power!
You speak - it comes to be.
Your sovereign will, Your boundless love
Engulf eternity.

My life, so proud, so frail and small,
Is but a passing breath.
My selfish dreams, my anxious days
Are all a lingering death.

Almighty Lord, You come, You speak.
I turn, and You are here.
I see You now for all You are.
Great God, I bow in fear!

But Lord, Your face is life and peace,
So fear’s response is love.
You enter now my conquered heart -
A light, a breath, a dove.

I fear You, Lord, but nothing else.
What freedom in the truth!
We walk in love’s response to love,
And all is joy in You!
