Our anchor grips unmoving ground
Though storms are fierce, and we so small.
Though life is pressure all around,
You hold us steady through it all.
Soon every storm You will subdue.
Till then our anchor holds in You.

You are the ground that holds us still –
Almighty God, Immanuel.
Our joy, our peace: Your sovereign will.
You are the Lord, and all is well.
Unfailing love in all You do,
We are forever safe in You.

Hope is our anchor strong and sure.
Your timeless Word is always now.
Our glorious future is secure –
We don’t know when, we don’t know how.
We trust Your Word, forever true.
Our hope, our confidence is You.
