Lyrics

Overwhelmed by Your sorrow,
You cry out for relief,
With companions surrounding,
Yet alone in Your grief.

Refrain:
As we follow You, Savior,
Even loss is great gain,
For by sharing Your pain,
We share in You.

As they tortured and taunted
In their hate unrestrained,
You endured all the suffering
Tender love had ordained.

O what bitter injustice!
O what wicked delight
As their God groaned and suffered
That their wrong be made right!

As we share in Your suffering,
As we share in Your shame,
We will glow with Your glory
And the power of Your name.
