Lyrics

O Lord, when You return,
You’ll call us to explain
The time and treasure we have spent
Of all that You have freely lent.
Is there eternal gain,
Or was it spent in vain?

Your heart is not in gold
Or in the pennies saved,
But did we care for those outside,
The precious ones for whom You died,
Or were we still enslaved
To fears and comforts craved?

Revive Your love within
And let it freely flow
That we might give as You would give
And boldly live as You would live
And daily, as we go,
Pay all the love we owe.
