I long for You, my Father!
You know my hungry heart.
I long to deeply know You.
O help me do my part!
Through all my daily moments,
With every small concern,
Lord, help me simply trust You
And all Your best discern.

So patiently You whisper
Your changeless guarantee,
That my eternal welfare
Depends on You, not me.
I simply trust and follow
Your Bright and Morning Star,
Rejoicing in Your goodness,
Secure in all You are.

I long for You, my Father!
O set me all apart
That all I am be holy,
An offering heart-to-heart.
I only crave Your glory.
Lord, fix my mind above.
Let all my life be worship
And all I am be love.
